Sep 27, 2009: Konkani Retreat at Nicosia - Cyprus
Retreat began at 9 am. Fr Franklin started retreat with praise and worship, then he continued talk on "REPENTACE brings healing". He explained the passage of Luke 15:1-10 with reference to Sirach 5:1-7. Jesus came for the sinners, when we confess our sins, He forgives us and heals us. He then told that sin enters through; Carnality, Protest against God (Acts 7:51), abnormal sexual activities (Romans 1:18-32), Cult activity, Tongue, fear, Hatred, Tattoos.
From 11 AM to 1 PM, Bro. T. K. George preached on "Confession and its importance". He explained Psalm 32 with his own experiences.
After the break at 2 to 3 PM, there was confession for the faithful from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Fr Franklin celebrated Holy Mass in Konkani and preached on John 4:1-26, how Jesus revealed himself to sinners and sick people. At the end of the Eucharist, Healing Adoration was conducted by Fr Franklin and Bro. T. K. George. All those who attended, filled with the JOY of the Lord.
