Oct 1, 2009 : Konkani retreat for the Indian community of Nicosia-Cyprus

October 1st was national Holiday at Cyprus. It was Cyprus�s Independence Day. Rev. Fr. Franklin started the retreat with Praise and worship at 9 AM.
From 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM, Bro.T.K.George preached on �Family life�; he explained the importance of the sacrament of matrimony, responsibility of husband and wife. Then they prayed for the gathered families; Genesis 2:18, Colossians 3:18, 1Peter 3:1-10
From 11.45 AM to 1.00 PM, Rev. Fr. Franklin D�Souza, spoke on the �Holy Spirit is our Comforter�. He explained John 7:37-39, with reference to John 14, 16, Romans 8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Galatians 5:13-26; Ephesians 6:10-18. He called the faithful to be strong in prayer life, in faith and never ever go away from the love of God which is poured upon us by Jesus, Romans 5:5.
After the break at 2 pm, Bro.T.K.George conducted praise and worship, he continued explaining Ezekiel 36:24-28. He took session on Inner healing and how to come out from Fear.
At 3.30 PM, Fr Franklin offered mass in Konkani �it doesn�t matter how many years that we live but how do we live�, he invited faithful to live for Christ. At the end of the Holy Mass, Inner healing adoration was conducted.
Lord confirmed his word with healing and anointing. The Konkani community of Cyprus thanked God for sending them gifted preachers.
