ICYM DAY at Honmav-Kumta Church

Honmav-Kumta, Oct 29- 2009 : ICYM DAY at St. John the Baptist Church, Honmav-Kumta, Karwar Diocese was held on Sunday, October 25- 2009 from 9 AM to 2 PM. The resource persons were Fr Franklin D'Souza, Regional Youth Director- Bangalore, Bro. T. K. George and Bro. William (Music).
Program started with praise and worship led by Bro. William and Bro. T. K. George. Then Bro. T. K. George spoke on "Youth and their Responsibility to the Church, to the Society and in the Family"
Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on "Respecting the parents and loving them is the important commandment of youth life- you can succeed with their blessings". Then he explained how the youth work happens in the region. He asked the youth to aim high. He spoke on how to select the courses of IAS, IPS etc. and the importance of government services. He invited youth to take up these services. He proclaimed that Jesus is our source of knowledge and wisdom. Adoration prayer was conducted for the youth gathered who were around 200.
