March 7th to 9th 2011 : Renewal Convention at Satyavani Retreat Centre- Khanapur, Belgaum Diocese

Retreat began on 7th March at 9AM Bro. William and Bro. T.K.George conducted the Parise and Worship. Then Bro. T.K.George preached on “Praise is the greatest form of offering to God” At 11.30AM Fr Franklin offered Holy Mass. His homily was on “Word of God and Our response to it” he explained Luke 5:1-10. After the lunch break Bro. T.K.George spoke on “Healing through repentance: Repent and Believe” at 4.30 PM Fr Franklin conducted the healing service with team. He spoke about Jairus and woman who touched Jesus with her hemorrhages from Luke 8:40-56. People were invited to come close to the altar and healing prayer was made. God confirmed his word through miracles. There were 475 faithful and 75 youth.
On 8th at 9AM Praise and worship, Fr Franklin D’Souza preached on “Repentance and need for confession also preparation for confession”. At 11.30AM there was confession 11 priests helped in confession. During the confession adoration was led by Bro. T. K. George and Bro. William. After the break Bro. William led the faithful in to praise and worship together with Bro. Wilson carvalho & Bro. Santan Lobo. At 3.30 PM Fr Franklin offered mass. He preached on “Catholic Church and mother Mary”. There were 800 faith foul and 120 youth.
On 9th Ash Wednesday the convention started at 11 AM. This was fasting and prayer day. People gathered after attending ash Wednesday mas at their respective parishes. Fr Franklin and Bro. William conducted the Praise and worship. Bro.T.K.George preached on “Family life: Husband and wife relationship, Respect for parents: Parents Children relationship, Respect for priests” prayer for married couples were held this session went on till 4.30PM. Fr Franklin Celebratd mass at 4.30 PM. At the end anointing prayer and adoration was conducted. Special prayer for the YOUTH, Committee members was held. There were 1000 people and 200 youth on this day.
