October 12, 2021 : Diocese of Shimoga is blessed with a new Pastoral Centre. At 10:30am His Grace Most Rev. Peter Machado, KRCBC President as well as Archbishop of Bangalore, inaugurated "SANNIDHI" Centre for Pastoral Renewal today in the year of St. Joseph, in the presence of Bishop of Diocese of Shimoga Most Rev. Francis Serrao SJ, the clergy, the Religious and the faithful of the Diocese of Shimoga. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ blessed the pastoral center.

At 11am Archbishop Peter Machado celebrated Holy Eucharist and thanked the Almighty God for the gift of Pastoral Centre 'SANNIDHI' together with Bishop of Mangalore - Most Rev. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mandya - Most Rev. Sebastian Adayantharath, Bishop of Chickmagalur - Most Rev. Thomasappa Anthonyswamy , Bishop of Belthangady - Most Rev. Thomas Mukkuzhy, Bishop of Bhadravati - Most Rev. Joseph Arumachadath, Bishop of Gulbarga - Most Rev. Robert Miranda, Bishop of Puttur - Most Rev. Geevarghese Makario.

After the mass a short felicitation program was organised. Fr. Roman Pinto compared the program. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ welcomed and thanked the dignitaries, Clergy as well as the faithful. During which all the Bishops, provincials and all those who toiled to put up the pastoral center were felicitated. Souvenir as well as the broucher of on going programs was released.

At present Rev. Fr Duming Dais is the Director of the 'SANNIDHI'.
