Shivamogga, October 8, 2024: The Missionary Families for Christ (MFC) and Diocesan Service of Communion (DSC) felicitated the newly appointed Vicar General, Msgr. Very Rev. Fr. Stany D'Souza, Rector of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Diocese of Shimoga, on October 6th at 11:30 a.m. at his Cathedral residence. MFC members Mr. Ajay and family, Mr. Davidraj and family, Mr. Arokiaswamy and family, Mr. Francis D'Mello and family, as well as Rev. Fr. Jesu Rakshaka Nadhan, Mission Director of Hasudi, were present.
Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Diocesan Spiritual Director of DSC, along with MFC & DSC, honored Msgr. Stany D'Souza with a shawl, garland, peta, and a bouquet of flowers.

The DSC of the Diocese of Shimoga organized a planning meeting on October 6th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yuvamitra. DSC Coordinator Mr. Davidraj and members Mr. John Lobo, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Francis D'Mello, Ms. Mary Louis, and Ms. Elvira Fernandes were present. The first hour was spent in discernment, followed by an official meeting. Ms. Mary Louis read the report, and then Fr. Franklin D'Souza provided information regarding KRSC planning.
A decision was made to have Intercessory Adoration in every parish of the Diocese. The program concluded with lunch at 1 p.m. Ms. Elvira Fernandes led the concluding prayer.
