Udupi, March 11, 2025: The Yesusparsha Team, led by Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Diocesan Youth Director of the Diocese of Shimoga, began their Lenten retreat at Holy Rosary Church, Kundapura, Diocese of Udupi.

Day 1 of the retreat began at 4:00 p.m. with praise and worship led by Fr. Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Kishan. Then, Parish Priest Fr. Paul Rego welcomed Fr. Franklin D'Souza and the team.

At 4:30 p.m., Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on the love of God and shared her testimony. At 5:15 p.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza spoke on the meaning of Lent and preparation for Easter and eternal life. He based his preaching on Mark 6:17-29.

At 6:30 p.m., he celebrated the Holy Eucharist, and at 7:00 p.m., healing adoration was held.

The first day's retreat concluded at 7:30 p.m.
