March 26 & 27, 2021: Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur organized two days Lenten retreat for the faithful of the parish.

Bro. T. K. George and Bro William D'Souza led the retreat. On March 26 th  at 5pm Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza welcomed them. Then Bro. William D'Souza led the Praise and Worship. At 5:30pm Parishioners led the way of the Cross. Then at 6:15pm Bro. T K George preached a talk on "Repent and believe". At 8pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist. At 8:30pm he led the healing adoration.

On second day March 27th Retreat began at 5pm with Praise and Worship led by Bro William D'Souza and Fr Franklin D'Souza.

At 6pm Bro T K George prepared the faithful for confessions. At 7pm three Priests helped in the confessionals. Symultaneously blessed sacrament was exposed and Adoration was led by the team. At 8pm Assistant Parish Priest Fr Nelson D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Fr Franklin D'Souza. At the end of the Holy Eucharist Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked Bro T K George and Bro William D'Souza for sparing time and preaching Lenten retreat for the parishioners. He also thanked the parishioners for their generosity in making this Retreat a successful one.
