April 8, 2022 : Yesusparsha Retreat Team led by Fr Franklin D'Souza began their three days Lenten Retreat at St. Alphonse Church, Alphonse Nagar, Diocese of Chikmagalur.

Parish Priest Fr David Prakash welcomed the Yesusparsha Retreat Team.

Retreat began at 8:30am with Rosary led by Sis. Manjula Joy. At 9am Bro. T. K. George and Bro. William D'Souza led the Praise and Worship. At 10am Prolife Manjula Joy shared her testimony. At 11 am Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on "Power of the Word of God and Savoir Jesus". At 12pm Bro. T. K. George spoke on "Seven sayings of Jesus";

• Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.
• To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
• Woman, behold, thy son!
• My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
• I thirst.
• It is finished.
• Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.

After the lunch break at 2pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. William D'Souza led the praise and worship. At 2:30pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Importance of following the commandments". At 3:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the "Way of the Cross". At 4:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Fr David Prakash.

Retreat concluded at 5pm.
