March 30, 2025: Fr. Franklin D'Souza and team led a one-day Lenten retreat convention at St. Sebastian's Church, Upper Kasarkod, Honnavar, Diocese of Karwar.

The retreat began at 9:00 a.m. with praise and worship led by Bro. Kishan and Fr. Franklin D'Souza. At 10:00 a.m., Prof. Manjula Joy spoke on "Forgiveness brings healing." She spoke on the importance of forgiveness and its effects on our daily lives.

At 11:00 a.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza gave a teaching on the commandments and their blessings. Bro. Kishan helped with the repentance session.

After lunch at 1:45 p.m., Bro. Kishan led the praise and worship. At 2:15 p.m., Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "The Importance of Life."

At 3:00 p.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza led the healing and anointing adoration. At 4:00 p.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist.

At the end of the Holy Spirit Parish retreat, Rev. Fr. Michael Pinto thanked Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Manjula Joy, and Bro. Kishan. He also thanked the parish council members and parishioners for their large turnout, making the retreat a success.
