Dakshina Kannada, Allipade, March 16, 2023: St. Anthony's Church, Allipade, Diocese of Mangalore organised one day Lenten Retreat for the faithful. Yesusparsha Team Fr Franklin D'Souza, Bro. T. K. George, Pro-life Manjula Joy and Harshit Castelino (music) led the retreat.

Retreat began at 8:30am with Praise and Worship led by Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshit Castelino. At 9:15am Bro. T. K. George led the session on "Sin and its consequences". At 10am Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on" Repentance and importance of Sacrament of Reconciliation". He also prepared faithful for the Confessions.

At 11am confessions were organised. Meantime Bro. T. K. George, Pro-life Manjula Joy and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the adoration. At 12pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the healing and anointing session. He concluded the adoration with benediction.

At 12:30pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Prayer life". At 1:15pm Bro. T. K. George spoke on "Biblical blessings". At 2pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Fr Fredrick Montero. I. His homily Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on "we are called to witness Jesus in our lives being the children of light".

At the end of the Holy Eucharist Parish Priest Fr Fredrick Montero thanked Yesusparsha Team and all those who helped for the success of the Parish Retreat. A good number of faithful attended the retreat.

Food was served to all by the parishioners. Retreat concluded at 3pm.
