Harihara, September 11, 2023: Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Health, Harihara, Diocese of Shimoga celebrated its Annual Feast in a gram manner on September 8th. There were Masses in various languages like; Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, English and Konkani.

Festal Mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Dr Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Diocese of Shimoga at 11am.

At 1:15pm Fr Franklin D’Souza, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, celebrated Holy Eucharist in Konkani. In his homily he spoke on the importance of the feast of nativity in the coastal region as well as all around the world. He spoke on why and how Harihara was selected by Hod through Mothef Mary to proclaim the love, healing and forgiveness of Lord Jesus to the humanity.

Faithful of St. Thomas Church, Davanagere prepared the choir for the Mass.
