Bengaluru, November 3,2023: With the blessings of Fr Jose Vettiyankal VC, the Director of Logos Retreat Centre, Bengaluru, Logos Retreat Centre Kannada Section Incharge Bro. Mahime Raj and Yesusparsha Team Preacher Bro. T. K. George, together with prayer warriors organised a program of Felicitation on the occasion of Golden Birthday and Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee of Fr Franklin D'Souza, a Charismatic Retreat Preacher from the Diocese of Shimoga on November 1st, 2023.

Logos Retreat Centre conducts every year on November 1st a special Retreat Convention in Kannada to pray for Karnataka as our State celebrates 'Kannada Rajyotsava'. Retreat began at 9:30am and concluded at 5:30pm. Fr Jose Vettiyankal VC, Fr George VC, Fr Franklin D'Souza, Bro. T. K. George, Bro. Mahime Raj, Bro. Mohan and Bro. Prakash D'Souza from Mumbai led the Retreat. Bro. Vincent from Divine Retreat Centre, Kerala led the worship with the Logos Team. Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist and thanked God for his blessings on State of Karnataka. End the Mass Logos Fathers, Brothers and Volunteers together with the faithful gathered celebrated Fr Franklin D’Souza's Golden birthday by cutting a cake and wishing him many more years in the mission of the Lord Jesus.

There was an unique program organised with leadership of Bro. Mahime Raj and Bro. T. K. George at 6:30pm at the basement hall of Logos Retreat Centre for which 150 preacher's, prayer warriors and friends of Fr Franklin D'Souza gathered to felicitate him on his Golden birthday and Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee.

Logos Retreat Centre Director Fr Jose Vettiyankal VC, Director of Divine Mercy Retreat Centre and Director of Proclamation Commission of Archdiocese of Bangalore Fr Anthony Prasad, Director of, Karnataka Regional Organisation for Social Service Fr Richard Pais, Assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza, Yesusparsha Team Preacher Bro. T. K. George, Bro. Mohan, Bro. Mahime Raj, Bro. Vincent (Divine Kerala), KRSC Chairman Bro. Cherian Ramapuram and others were on the dais.

Preachers, Intercessors and friends and relatives of Fr Franklin D'Souza were present for this Felicitation program.

Bro. Mahime Raj welcomed all and, KRSC Secretary Bro. Thomas Chinnappa was the Emcee of the program. Fr Jose Vettiyankal VC thanked God for the gift of Fr Franklin D'Souza to the Church. Together with those gather he led a prayer of blessing. Everyone on the dais spoke felicitatory words and thanked God for Fr Franklin.

At the end in his message Fr Franklin D'Souza told that some programs we ask to organise but some programs are organised out of love for Jesus and his mission. He said I witnessed such a program today. He said that it is Jesus and His word we are honouring today. He also said that Jesus never calls the qualified but He calls and then qualifies us. We are all part of the Church, and Jesus is our Master and Saviour, He knows how to lead in his ministry. For us Jesus is the perfect leader and we exercise leadership with loving the people like Jesus and encouraging them as He encouraged them. As we prepare people in their journey to attain eternal life, we also have the responsibility to form their consciences. Our role through preaching ministry to form the right and courageous consciences of people.

Fr Franklin D'Souza specifically thanked Bro. T. K. George, Bro. Mahime Raj and Fr Jose Vettiyankal VC for their love towards him. He also thanked all those who gathered for this unique program.

Dinner on the occasion was organised for all.
