Chitradurga, Hiriyur, February 13, 2024: Fr Franklin D’Souza blessed and installed newly donated statue of St. Anthony of Padua at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga.

Chikdren of late Mr. Kulandaiswamy and late Mrs. Philomemena donated the Statue. At 6:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza blessed the statue and led the Rosary procession. After the procession St. Anthony's Novena was held. Then Fr Franklin D'Souza, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur installed the Statue inside the Church. At 7pm he led the Holy Eucharist.
