Mangalore, March 17, 2025: Fr. Franklin D'Souza and Bro. William D'Souza (Music) began a three-day Lenten retreat at Our Lady of Velanganni Church, Farla, Diocese of Mangalore. The retreat was from March 17th to 19th.

Day 1: The retreat began at 4 p.m. with praise and worship led by Bro. William D'Souza. Then, Parish Priest Fr. Mark welcomed Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Diocesan Youth Director of the Diocese of Shimoga. At 4:45 p.m., he preached on the meaning of Lent, the power of the word of God, and setting one's conscience right.

At 6:30 p.m., he celebrated Holy Eucharist. At 7 p.m., he led the healing adoration based on John 5:1-14.

The retreat concluded at 8 p.m.
