Shivamogga, May 19, 2024: Diocese of Shimoga's Charismatic Team, Diocesan Service of Communion (DSC) organised Second Pentecost Vigil at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga.

Vigil began on Saturday May 18th 9pm with Rosary led by DSC member Br. Francis D'Mello. Then at 10am Fr Franklin D'Souza, Spiritual Director of DSC as well as Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur celebrated Vigil Mass. In his homily he made known the importance of Night Vigil and its benefits.

After the Mass at 11:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza exposed the Blessed Sacrament. Deacon Nishant D'Souza and Br. Glanson D'Souza led the adoration with music ministry.

At 12:30am was the break. After the break session began at 1am with Worship by Dn Nishant. At 1:30am Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on importance of Prayer, Gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit.

At 3am DSC Team Coordinator Br. David, Br. Francis and Br. Wilson led the Intercessory Jerico Prayer. 4:30am was the break. After the break at 5am Fr Franklin D'Souza led the healing and anointing Prayer. He prayed over every participant before the benediction.

Pentecost Vigil concluded at 5:45am. Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked Parish Priest Rev. Fr Stany D'Souza and Parishioners of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga for their encouragement and support in organising the program
