Third and final day of the third annual KRSC orientation program in Sannidhi, Shivamogga

Shivamigga, February 17, 2025: The third and final day of the third annual Karnataka Regional Service of Communion (KRSC) orientation program commenced at 7:00 a.m. on February 16th at Sannidhi, Shivamogga, with praise and worship led by Brother Bala Cyril. Br. Cherian Ramapuram led the adoration. Br. Thomas Chinnappa provided translation services. Participants offered insights inspired by the Lord Jesus.

At 8:45 a.m., after breakfast, praise and worship were led by Belgaum DSC. At 9:15 a.m., Fr. Richard Pais, Director of Subhodhana and KROSS, Bengaluru, led a session on "The Role of the Laity According to the Code of Canon Law, CCC, and Vatican II".

After a tea break at 11:00 a.m., participants met by diocese and evaluated the program, developing action plans. Br. Cherian and Fr. Franklin D'Souza moderated the session. The session concluded with participants praying for one another.

At 12:30 p.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza offered the Thanksgiving Holy Eucharist. He preached a homily on "Trust in the Lord always," based on the Sixth Sunday's readings. After Mass, Fr. Franklin D'Souza and Fr. George Lobo laid their hands on the participants and prayed for them.

Br. Thomas Chinnappa, KRSC Secretary, proposed a vote of thanks. The three-day orientation concluded at 2 p.m.
