Bengaluru, October 1, 2024 : Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza, Diocesan Youth Director of the Diocese of Shimoga and the Karnataka Regional Spiritual Director for Charismatic Renewal, led the 20th Ramapuram families, Annual Retreat at Dharmaram Vidya Kshetra (DVK), Bengaluru.

The retreat commenced on September 27th at 7:00 p.m. with the Holy Eucharist and concluded on October 1st, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Deny Dencil from Kerala and Ms. Josephine from Logos Retreat Centre, Bengaluru, led the musical ensemble.

Reverend Franklin D'Souza covered the following topics based on the Word of God:

- Life's crises and rediscovering Jesus in one's life
- Developing a sound conscience
- The transformative power of the Word of God
- The Christian's calling to follow Christ
- The benefits of forgiveness
- The significance of the Eucharist
- Mother Mary as the Mother of families
- The blessings of honoring parents
- The Sacrament of Matrimony and the vocation to serve the Lord through marriage
- The consequences of sin
- The importance of repentance and reconciliation
- The Holy Spirit as a divine gift and the subsequent follow-up

Holy Eucharist was celebrated daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Eucharistic Adoration and healing sessions led by Reverend Franklin D'Souza were held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Confessions were organised on September 30th 3:30p.m. to 5p.m.

On October 1st at 12:00 p.m., Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza conducted the anointing Adoration and laying of hands on the participants.

On behalf of the Ramapuram Family, Mr. Cherian Ramapuram expressed gratitude to the preacher and music ministry team. He also extended his appreciation to the center's director and his family members for their assistance in organizing the Annual Family Retreat.
