Lenten Retreat at Christ the King Church, Jog Falls, Diocese of Shimoga

Shivamogga, March 15, 2025: Fr. Franklin D'Souza and team began their two-day retreat at Christ the King Church, Jogfalls, Diocese of Shivamogga.

On March 14, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza led the Way of the Cross, and at 6:30 p.m., celebrated Holy Eucharist and gave an introduction to the parish retreat.

On March 15, at 9:00 a.m., Prolife Manjula Joy led the Rosary; then Fr. Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Kiran led praise and worship. At 10:00 a.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza gave a session on "The Power of the Word of God and its Application in Christian Life." At 12:00 p.m., Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on the love of God.

After the lunch break, the retreat resumed at 2:00 p.m. Fr. Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Kiran led the praise and worship. At 2:30 p.m., Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on forgiveness. At 3:30 p.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza led the healing adoration. At 4:45 p.m., Fr. Franklin D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist. The retreat concluded at 5:30 p.m. A good number of faithful took part in the retreat.

Parish Priest Fr. Salvador Rodrigues introduced the team and welcomed them. Deacon Joachim MSFS was also present.
