March 5th 2014 Fr. Franklin D’Souza and team are preaching a four days Lenten Retreat at Vamnajoor Parish. At 4pm Fr. Franklin and Bro. William started the retreat with Praise and worship. Fr. Melwin Asst. Pastor of the parish welcomed the team. At 5 pm Bro. T. K. George preached on ‘how to overcome the temptations’ he enumerated the temptations of the Lord. He explained how Bible becomes Good News. At 6.30 pm Fr. Franklin celebrated Holy Mass of Ash Wednesday. He preached on ‘Repent and Believe’. Ashes were blessed and applied on the forehead of faithful as the sign to remind that we are come from dust and it is indeed dust we become. Healing adoration was conducted by the team.
