PRAISE THE LORD; GLORY TO GOD

I Praise Jesus for selecting you as the Shepherd to lead the Diocese of Mangalore. We were praying in Every Retreat for the Diocese of Mangalore which is my home Doicese. God has chosen you to lead this beautiful Diocese cradle of vocations. Your love for the Church, Commitment, Simplicity and sincerity above all serenity is blessing for this Diocese. I remember the days as I was in Rome on a visit with Fr Alwyn Dsouza visited you...your hospitality and humility touched me because that was my first meeting. All of your students also told me how loving and compassionate you are. You were in a good place as a professor. Now you have said YES when Holy Father asked your consent. What we need a spirit filled and compassionate Father to lead the flock. Our team and prayer warriors will accompany you in your God given new MISSION in taking ahead this Diocese.

I ALSO THANK GOD FOR BISHOP ALOYSIUS PAUL DSOUZA. HE ALWAYS APPRECIATED AND ENCOURAGED ME IN MY LAST 19 YEARS AS A PREACHER, YOUTH DIRECTOR. EVEN THOUGH I BELONG TO THE DIOCESE OF SHIMOGA..HIS LOVE AND ENCOURAGEMENT IN EVERY MEETING WHERE I PRESENTED REPORT AT REGIONAL LEVEL/ AT CBCI LEVEL HE STOOD UP AND APPRECIATED SAYING SPIRITUAL MOTIVATION TOGETHER WITH OTHER ACTIVITIES IS MUST THAT IS WHAT I SEE IN FR FRANKLIN. WHAT ELSE I NEED WHEN HE RIGHTLY UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WAS DOING IS NECESSARY FOR THE CHURCH. HIS BLESSINGS AND ENCOURAGING WORDS I CAN NEVER FORGET. MAY GOD GRANT HIM GOOD HEALTH AS HE RETIRES FROM HIS SERVICES AS BISHOP OF THE DIOCESE OF MANGALORE.
