October 14, 2018; Our Lady of Assumption Church, HIRIYUR, Diocese of Shimoga, organized a talk on Couples For Christ (CFC). Fr Franklin D'Souza the Parochial administration of the Parish Celebreted Holy Eucharist and Preached a homily on "one thing that we lack! to witness Jesus". He in his homily spoke on importance of Small Christian Community (SCC) and it's usefulness. Without SCC parish won't exist. He explained basic characteristics of SCC; One, Holy, Apostolic and Catholic. At the end of the Holy Eucharist Canute and Sonia shared their testimony as well as importance of CFC. After the Holy Eucharist they met the Couples. Fifteen couples were present. Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked them. Fr Stany Dcunha organized the program.
