February 11, 2019; Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur Chitradurga District Diocese of Shimoga Celebrated first Grotto feast. At 6pm Rosary procession began. Faithful prepared a beautiful chariot of Mother Mary. With lighted candles singing 'Ave Ave Maria' faithful honored Mother Mary Mother of Jesus and thanked God for get powerful intercession.

Grotto was inaugurated last year in the month of August. This was the first mass at Grotto Celebrated by Fr George K. A. He preached a beautiful homily on the role of Mother Mary in the Bible and our devotion. Parochial Administrator Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked Fr George K. A. Assistant Parish Priest Fr Stany Dcunha took charge of the preparation if the feast.

Rosy Ambrose Family served everyone a sumptuous meal.
