October 12th -14th Fr Franklin & Bro. T. K. George preached a retreat for the faithful of the Alangar parish near Moodbidre. Fr. Basil Vas the parish priest welcomed the team. Three days spiritual awakening was conducted to begin the year of the faith as well as preparation for the annual church feast. Three days 1800 people attended.

Topics were based on Faith, Word of God, Repentance, Sacraments, Commandments and Family life. Bro. William led the praise and worship. On the last day October 14th Fr Franklin inaugurated the YEAR OF THE FAITH by unveiling the year of faith logo. Fr Franklin preached on the importance of “YEAR OF FAITH”.
