June 19th 2021: Rev. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza celebrated his 34th birthday
Rev. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza hails from St. Thomas Church, Davanagere. He is a priest fov the Diocese of Shimoga. At present he serves as Assistant Parish Priest asll well as Head Master of Assumption English Medium Highschool at Hiriyur, Chitradurga District.
Due to Pandemic a simple prayer service organized by Management, HMs and staff of Assumption Schools.
At 10:30am all gathered in the hall. Sr. Alphonse Alwyn HM of Assumption Kannada Higher Primary School and Sr. Veronica, Asst. teacher, led the Prayer Service. Every teacher offered a flower as a symbol of their love and prayer.
Mr. Janardhan from Assumption English Higher Primary School welcomed every one for the program. Then Fr Nelson D'Souza cut his birthday cake. Assumption English Medium Highschool teachers sang a wishing song on this occasion.
On behalf of HM's Assumption Kannada Highschool HM Mr. Henry Crasta spoke the words of appreciation and felicitated Fr Nelson D'Souza.
A simple and meaningful dance was presented by Assumption English Higher Primary school teachers. On behalf of all teachers Mr. Raghavendra spoke words of appreciation and felicitated Fr Nelson.
In his speech Manger and Correspondent Fr Franklin D'Souza appreciated relentless service of Fr Nelson D'Souza to the Parish as well as to the School. He thanked God for the gift of life of Fr Nelson D'Souza. He wished him success in all his endeavors. On behalf of management he offered a token of love together with all the HMs.
Then Fr Nelson D'Souza in his speech thanked every one praying for him. He said Love, Faith and Hope among them Love is the greatest gift. Let us have faith in God and our Hope will never fail. Due to Pandemic we need not get frustrated but let us Hope for the best in coming days by working unitedly for the growth of the institution.

Sr. Alphonse Alwyn HM of Assumption Kannada Higher Primary School compered the program. Then management served the High Tea for everyone.
