Hiriyur - October 26, 2022: Fr Franklin D'Souza, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church as well as Manager and Correspondent of Assumption School, Hiriyur celebrated his 49th birthday on October 22nd at Hiriyur.

Assumption School organised wishing program at 9:30am at Assumption Hall, Hiriyur. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza Principal of Assumption English High School, Mr. Henry Crasta HM of Assumption Kannada High School, Sr. Alphonse Alwyn SAB HM of Assumption Kannada Primary School and Sr. Martha SAB HM of English Primary School organised this wishing program. Sir Janardhan welcomed the gathering.

School children entertained all. Each department took turn to wish Fr Franklin D'Souza. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza in his speech appreciated Fr Franklin D'Souza and his commitment in bringing change in to the institution. He wished him good health and long life.

Fr Franklin D'Souza in his speech thanked every one for their love and support. He thanked God for the gift of life. He invited everyone to love God who gave us life and our parents who took care of our lives. Ms. Anitha Joseph thanked every one who helped in making this program a success.

Evening 6pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist and thanked God together with the Parishioners. After the mass at 7pm a small felicitation program was held at the portico.

On 24th Fr Franklin D'Souza visited his mother and sought her blessings and celebrated his birthday with her.
