December 18,2022: Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur Chitradurga District Diocese of Shimoga held Star day. It's the tradition of faithful at Hiriyur they begin their celebration of Christmas by hoisting the star.
Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist at 12pm after the mass faithful gathered near the belfry. Fr Franklin D'Souza blessed the star and hoisted the star.
