Youth Commission of the Diocese Shimoga held ICYM DEXCO and YCS/YSM DTS

December 8, 2024: The Yuvamitra, Youth Commission of the Diocese of Shimoga, held an ICYM DEXCO and YCS/YSM DTS meeting on December 1, 2024, at Yuvamitra, Shivamogga.

The meeting commenced at 9:30 a.m. and concluded at 2:30 p.m., with lunch. Ms. Priya Maria D'Souza, ICYM Diocesan Youth President, led the meeting. Youth Director Fr. Franklin D'Souza, animators Sr. Treesa Lidiya BS and Sr. Jayanti, and other office bearers were present.

The main agenda of the meeting was concluding the Year of Youth 2024, diocesan elections for ICYM, YCS/YSM, Christmas Yuvataare, Yuvasaurabha, and the concluding Holy Eucharist at the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

The Christmas program will be on December 14th, and the concluding Eucharistic celebration of the Year of Youth 2024 will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, celebrated by Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao SJ.

DEXCO will inform parish units of the detailed program through a circular.

The meeting concluded with a Holy Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Franklin D'Souza.
