Shivamogga, January 21, 2025: Diocesan Youth Director Fr. Franklin D'Souza visited the ICYM and YCS/YSM units of St. Anthony's Church, Ragigudda (Shantinagar), Shivamogga, on January 20, 2025.

He offered the Holy Eucharist at 9:00 a.m. and preached a sermon on "The Power of the Word of God." Then, at 11:00 a.m., he addressed the youth gathered in the hall.

Deacon Nishant D'Costa welcomed the gathering, especially Fr. Franklin D'Souza, the Youth Director.

Fr. Anthony D'Souza, CMF, was also present. Being a parishioner, he spoke about his congregation and invited those inspired to join in serving the Lord.

Fr. David Dellario asked young people to organize themselves and make use of the opportunity given by the Church. He encouraged them.

Fr. Franklin D'Souza spoke on resolving differences and difficulties. He said that all witness the Lord Jesus and need to remain alert and not deviate from their baptismal call. He added that the Diocesan youth commission is always ready to assist parish youth units.

The program concluded with a blessing by Fr. Franklin D'Souza.
