December 20, 2021 : Preparations for Christmas 2021 at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District Diocese of Shimoga is in full swing. On December 12th Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza officially inagurated the preparations by hoisting the special star of Christmas. ICYM and YCS of the Parish together with Fr Franklin D'Souza and Sr. Alwyn visited the families from December 13-14th to give Christmas message through Carol singing. Assumption ICYM, YCS youth decorated the church as well as they are busy preparing a very creative and meaningful crib. We pray and wish all our friends a blessed Christmas. May Lord Jesus Christ bring peace and healing to the humanity.
