Delhi, October 2, 2023: Fr Franklin D’Souza from the Diocese of Shimoga led three days residential Inner healing retreat at Jeevan Jyothi Ashram, Burari, Delhi. Theme of the retreat was "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you" Ezekiel 36:26.

Retreat began on September 30th at 10am with Praise and Worship led by Mr. Gilbert Faria and Mr. Birty.

At 11am Fr Franklin D’Souza spoke on "Rediscovering Jesus in our lives". He based his preaching on John 3:11- 21. He celebrated the Holy Eucharist at 12pm. In his homily he spoke on "Who is Jesus?".

After the lunch at 2pm was the Praise and Worship. At 3pm Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on "Call to follow Jesus and how to overcome come the Crisis?". He based his teaching on Luke 5:1-11. 6pm he took a talk on Physical healing and at 7pm he led the healing adoration. First days retreat concluded at 8pm.

On October 1st, day began with Praise and Worship at 6:30am. At 7am Fr Franklin D'Souza preached on; "Spiritual blindness and Physical blindness". He based his preaching on Luke 18:35-19:10.

9:30am to 10:30am he spoke on "Forgiveness brings healing". He based his teaching on Mathew 18:21-35. At 11:30am he celebrated the Holy Eucharist and preached a homily on "Eucharist and Forgiveness". Based his teaching on Mathew 5:23-25.

Counseling for the participants was organised from 10:30am to 12pm. Then 1:30pm to 3pm. At 3pm Fr Franklin D’Souza gave his teaching on "Sin and Repentance". He based his teaching on Luke 15:1-10.

At 5pm he prepared the participants for Confessions. From 5:30pm to 7:30pm Confessions were organised. At 7:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza the inner healing service. Retreat concluded at 8:30pm.

On October 2nd, retreat began at 6:30am with Praise and Worship. At 7am Fr Franklin D’Souza gave a teaching on "Blessed Virgin Mary". He based his teaching on Luke 1:26-36.

At 9am after thr praise and Worship, Fr Franklin D'Souza gave a teaching on "Holy Spirit is the gift of God". He based his teaching on John 4:4-35. At 11:30 Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Franklin D'Souza. In his homily he spoke on "How to sustain in the spirit of the retreat".

Afternoon at 2pm was the Praise and Worship then at 2:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the infilling of the Holy Spirit adoration. He layed the hands on the participants and prayed for them.
