DSC of Diocese of Shimoga led the Intercessory Adoration at St. Joseph's Church, Sagar

June 24,2024: Shimoga Diocesan Service of Communion (DSC) led the Intercessory Adoration from 2:30pm to 6pm at St. Joseph's Church, Sagara, Shivamogga District.

At 9am Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza, Youth Director as well as DSC Spiritual Director, celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Msgr. Felix Joseph Noronha, Parish Priest of Sagar.

After the Mass Fr Franklin D'Souza head the meeting with ICYM, YCS, SVP and Legion of Mary members.

At 2:30pm Blessed Sacrament was exposed. Then till 3:30pm Praise and Worship was led by Fr Franklin D'Souza, he made known the importance of Intercession; based on 2 Chronicles 20:1-20.

3:30pm to 5:15pm: Intercession led by DSC members together with Sagara Prayer team.

Mode of Intercession - Praise and Worship, Rosary, Bible reading (after each decade Psalms 1, 23, 50, 51, 90), Divine Mercy Rosary (20 minutes each).

1st decade; For the Diocese
2nd decade; Mount Carmel Deanery
3rd decade; Little Flower Deanery
4th decade; Holy Family Deanery
5th Decade; Maria Vianney Deanery
Together with general Intercessions.

5:15pm to 5:45pm healing prayer based on Isaiah 38:1 - 20 led by Fr Franklin D'Souza.

DSC members present were: Mr. David Raj, Coordinator DSC (Cathedral), Mr. Francis D'Mello, DSC member (Cathedral), Mr. Wilson, DSC member, (New Town, Bhadravati), Mr John Lobo and Ms. Mary, DSC Intercession Incharge of the Diocese.
