The Feast of St. Arnold Janssen, founder of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD), was celebrated on a grand scale at the Divine Call Retreat Centre, Mulki, on January 18, 2025, during a two-day retreat.

The prayer convention was attended by over 600 faithful, 20 priests, and many religious. The occasion marked the 150th Jubilee Year of the SVD congregation and the Jubilee Year of the Lord Jesus' birth.

Rev. Fr. Franklin D'Souza presided over the solemn Holy Eucharist and delivered a powerful message, inspiring the gathering with reflections on faith and mission. The event highlighted St. Arnold's legacy of spreading the Gospel and deepened the spiritual fervor of the attendees.

Renowned preacher Brother T.K. George, who passed away on October 14, was remembered for his commitment to Charismatic retreat preaching and healing prayer meetings. Residential retreats are held here regularly under the directorship of Rev. Fr. Abraham Vincent D'Souza, SVD.
