March 7th, 2014 Fr. Franklin D’Souza conducted retreat at St. Joseph the worker Parish at Vamanjoor. Retreat began with the ‘Healing Way of the Cross’ led by Fr. Franklin at 4pm. At 6pm Fr. Franklin preached on ‘How to draw real Joy from the Word of God?’ he explained his preaching quoting 2 Timothy 1:7, Isaiah 41:10, Isaiah 46:4, Hebrews 4:12 and Exodus 23:25.

At 7pm he offered Holy Mass and preached on ‘meaning of fasting and fasting brings healing’. He conducted benediction prayed for the intentions of the people.  After the blessings blessed bread was distributed for the participants.
