April 14,2019; Fr Franklin D'Souza together with Assistant Priest Fr Stany Dcunha led the palm Sunday service at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga. Service began at 8am at the stage. Bro. Joy gave the introduction to Palm Sunday. Then Fr Franklin D'Souza blessed the palms. Passion narrative from the Gospel of Luke was read. Fr Stany Dcunha preached the homily.
