August 15, 2019; Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur, Chitradurga District welcomed Bishop Francis Serrao Sj for the flag hoisting ceremony at Hospital Circle, Hiriyur. Then he was welcomed through procession towards the church. Assumption School band led the procession. Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza and Assistant Parish Priest Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza welcomed Bishop with garland and bouquet.
