August 19,2019; as the part of Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur festival, in the evening 6:30pm Mother Mary's Chariot procession took place in the.main streets of Hiriyur. Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza blessed the Chariot. Fr Franklin D'Souza and Fr Nelson D'Souza led the procession. Assumption Youth prepared the Chariot. This great tradition continues from many years during the feast day and faithful pray to the Lord Jesus to bless them and their business.

At the end Fr Franklin D'Souza led the Thanksgiving adoration.
