Chitradurga, Hiriyur, March 6, 2024: Assumption Kannada Medium 10th Students' Farewell of 2023-24 was held at Assumption Hall, Hiriyur on March 6th from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

Manager and Corresspondent Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza was the president of the program. Principal of Assumption English High School Rev. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza was the Chief guest. HM of Assumption Kannada Primary School Rev. Sr. Veronica, HM of Assumption English Primary School Rev. Sr. Martha and Assumption Kannada High School HM Mr. Henry Crasta were present for the Farewell.

Program began with Prayer Song by the 9th students. Dignitaries on the dais inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Teacher Mr. Zakir Hussain welcomed the dignitaries. Students Amulya, Farhana and Gloria led the reading of Bhagavad-Gita, Quran and Bible. Prayers for School, State and for the Nation led by SSLC students.

Students; Ramya, Ajay, Harshitha D., Kavyashri shared their experiences being in Assumption campus for 12 years. Teachers; Mr.Malathesh and Ms. Anitha, the class Teachers shared their opinions about outgoing students.

Cultural programme was presented the 8th and 9th standard students. Students received a memorable Memento as a token of love of thier school life.

Fr Franklin D’Souza and Fr Nelson D'Souza gave their speech and motivated out going students. Teacher Mr. Dayanand compered the program. Teacher Ms. Tanuja proposed the vote of thanks.

Meal was served for all. Thus Farewell to the SSLC students concluded at 12:30pm.
