Chitradurga, Hiriyur, March 18, 2024: Assumption English Medium 10th Students' Farewell of 2023-24 was held at Assumption Hall, Hiriyur on March 16th from 8:30am to 10:30am.

Manager and Corresspondent Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza was the Chief guest of the program. Principal of Assumption English High School Rev. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza, HM of Assumption Kannada Primary School Rev. Sr. Veronica and HM of Assumption English Primary School Rev. Sr. Martha were present for the Farewell.

Program began with Prayer Song by the juniors. Teacher Anitha led the inter-religious reading of the Sacred scriptures.

Students Lakshmi, Saba Harmain and Anisha led the reading of Bhagavad-Gita, Quran and Bible.

All the teachers of AEHS led the Intercessory Prayers for the School, State and for the Nation. Then the dignitaries on the dais together with Student Representatives inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

Guna Teja welcomed the dignitaries.

Students: Deepthi, Anisha and Vijay shared their experiences being in Assumption campus for 12 years.

Cultural programme was presented by the 8th A & B and 9th A & B standard students. Students received a memorable Memento as a token of love of their school life by Manager.

Fr Franklin D’Souza and Fr Nelson D'Souza gave their speech and motivated outgoing students. Sriraghavi and Divya compered the program. Nishitha George proposed the vote of thanks.

Meal was served for all. Thus grand Farewell to the SSLC students concluded at 10:30am.
