Chitradurga, March 23, 2024: Assumption Kannada High School, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District bids Farewell to Mr. Henry Crasta, HM of AKHS. He completed 60 years on March 9th, 2024.
Management together with AKHS organised Farewell Program on March 22, 2024 at Assumption Hall. At 10:30am Program began with Prayer Song by the students.
Manager and Corresspondent Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza, Assumption English High School HM Rev. Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza, Assumption Kannada Primary School HM Rev. Sr Veronica SAB and HM of Assumption English Primary School Rev. Sr Martha SAB were present on the dais.
Outgoing HM Mr. Henry Crasta and his wife Mrs. Rosaline Menezes were on the dais.
Teacher Mr. Zakir Hussain welcomed the dignitaries.
Mr. Dayanand is appointed by the Mount Carmel Education Society(R) & SMSSS as the In Charge HM of AKHS was also present on the dais. He spoke about the journey of HM Mr. Henry Crasta in Assumption School.
Teachers; Mr. Malthesh, Ms. Anitha and Ms. Tanuja shared their opinions about HM Mr. Henry Crasta.
Manager, HMs and teachers honoured Mr. Henry Crasta and also his wife Mrs. Rosaline Menezes. Then Mr. Henry Crasta gave a very emotional Farewell speech citing that his association with Assumption School.
Manager and Corresspondent Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza appreciated selfless, dedicated, sincere services of Mr. Henry Crasta. He said that his love for the School is always remembered. He thanked him on behalf of President Most Rev. Dr Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Diocese of Shimoga and MCES Secretary Rev. Fr Veeresh Moras for his services.
Rev. Fr Nelson D'Souza in his speech Highlighted Mr. Henry Crasta's time sense, his approach and his commitment to his teaching profession. He will remembered forever in the Assumption School.

Evening at 3:30pm High tea was organised together with the Staff of four sections of the School. Teachers; Mr. Dayanand fro. AKHS, Mr. Janardhan from AEHPS, Mrs. Veronica from AKHPS and Mr. Myluswamy from AEHS shared their association with Mr. Henry Crasta.
