December 9, 2024: The Sisters of St. Charles observed the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, their institution's patronal feast day. All convent units, including personnel and children, were invited to join in the celebration on December 7th.
Diocesan Youth Director Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist at 11:30am in the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga, and delivered a homily on the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Monsignor Very Rev. Fr Stany D'Souza, Rector of Sacred Heart Cathedral, and Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Paul Anand, SJ, served as concelebrants.
A fellowship meal followed the Mass.
