40th day commemoration of late Bro. T. K. George

Shivamogga, December 3, 2024: A memorial service commemorating the late Brother T. K. George on the 40th day after his passing was held on November 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Newtown, Bhadravati, by his family. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Santhosh Pereira, concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Praveen. Following the Eucharist, a prayer service led by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Lancy Barthalomeo D'Souza was attended by family members to honor Brother George. A meal was provided for attendees. A significant number of family members were present to offer prayers for the late Brother T. K. George. Family members visited the grave and offered prayers for the late Brother T. K. George.

A half-day retreat for parishioners was conducted on November 24th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Sacred Heart Church, Siluvepura, Archdiocese of Bangalore. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Vincent Santhosh celebrated Holy Eucharist, followed by a retreat led by Manjula Joy and Bro. Kiran. A floral tribute was offered to the late Bro. T. K. George.

The Yesusparsha Team held a Holy Eucharist on December 2nd at 11:30 a.m. in commemoration of late Bro. T. K. George. Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza offered the Holy Eucharist together with, Rev. Fr. Stephen Maxi Albuquerque, Chancellor of the Diocese of Shimoga and Parish Priest of Good Shepherd Church, Gopala, Shivamogga. Fr. Stephen preached a short homily. Manjula Joy from Bangalore Prolife, Bro. Mahime Raj from NSC, Mr. Christopher, Mr. Joseph Raj, Mr. Suresh, and Ms. Pramila Kumari were present. Mr. T. V. Davis, Mr. Joseph, and his mother from the family, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Paulose, Mr. Louis, and some members from the parish were present.

After Mass, the team visited the grave of the late Bro. T. K. George and offered prayers. Bro. T. K. George's brother, T. V. Davis, organized a meal at his house. Fr. Stephen led the prayer there.
