Karkala, December 8, 2024: Rev. Fr. Franklin D'Souza led the Adoration and Novena at St. Lawrence Minor Basilica in Attur, Karkala, Diocese of Udupi, on Thursday, December 5, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Adoration commenced at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza shared the focusing on the meaning of Advent and how we have to prepare our lives in the light of the Word of God Luke 3:1-6. Subsequently, he conducted a healing service, praying for the well-being of those present. Brother John D'Souza provided musical accompaniment during this segment.
At 11:00 a.m., Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza presided over the Novena Mass, while Rev. Fr Alban D'Souza, Rector of the Minor Basilica, led the Novena dedicated to St. Lawrence.
At the conclusion of the Novena, Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Larry Franklin Pinto expressed gratitude to Rev Fr Franklin D'Souza, Brother John D'Souza, and all sponsors who contributed to the success of the Novena.
