Shivamogga, January 21, 2025: St. Anthony's Church, Ragigudda (Shantinagar), Shivamogga celebrated Bible Sunday on January 20, 2025. Diocesan Renewal Services Spiritual Director and Youth Director Fr. Franklin D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist.

In his sermon, he stressed the important role of the Bible in Catholic lives, connecting it to the day's readings. He said that the Bible guides our conscience. He narrated the incident of Mark 6:14-29. He spoke on dead conscience, evasive conscience, wavering conscience, and courageous conscience. He admonished the faithful to have courage like John the Baptist. He prayed for the faithful.

Parish Priest Fr. David Dellario thanked Fr. Franklin D'Souza for his inspirational sermon and prayer.
