August 17,2019; Third days Novena at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga began at 6pm with Rosary procession led by Fr Franklin D'Souza and Fr Nelson D'Souza. At 6:30pm Fr Steven D'Sa Parish Priest of St. Thomas Church Davanagere offered Holy Eucharist. He gave homily on the "role of Mother Mary in salvation history". He based his sermon on the word of God. Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked Fr Steven D'Sa.
