Dec. 31, 2017: St. Thomas Church, Davanagere officially concluded the Year of Family declared by Diocese of Shimoga. At 8:30 a.m. Diocesan Family Counseling Center Director Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist, preached on Family and it's role in the society and in the Church. He offered special prayers for the families gathered for the Holy Eucharist and blessed them. Parish Priest Fr Steven D'Sa thanked Fr Franklin D'Souza.
