January 31,2023: HM of Assumption Kannada Primary School, Hiriyur completed her 60 years on January 23rd 2023. Management and staff as well as students felicitated Sr. Alwyn during the assembly on January 31st at 9:45am.

Manager and Corresspondent Rev. Fr Franklin D'Souza congratulated Sr. Alwyn and thanked her for the selfless service to the School. He also said age is just a number but the Spirit to serve keeps us going. With this she also retires officially from Assumption Kannada Primary aided School. He also led a blessing prayer for the Sr. Alwyn together with the staff and students. Sr. Alwyn shared her joy with everyone gathered by cutting thr cake.

Fr Nelson D'Souza, HM of Assumption English High School said that we are inspired by the patience, serenity as well as service mindedness of Sr. Alwyn.

Sr. Alwyn thanked the management and staff for celebrating her birthday and praying for her. She said that Assumption School has given her new dimension and direction in her mission of educating the children.
