October 2, 2014: North India witnessed its first ever National Hindi Youth Convention. NCCRS Spiritual Advisor Bishop Francis Kalist, Bishop of Meerut inaugurated “Anubhav 2014” with ingural Eucharist. In his homily he stressed that every one of us should experience Jesus. He explained the experiences of apostles, saints as well as Mother Mary. He said that “Anubhav 2014” should enlighten youth and by this experience youth should become the witness for Jesus. After the mass there was a short inaugural function. NCCRS Spiritual Director Fr. Jose Anchanickal delivered inaugural address. Y4C National President Mr. Manoj welcomed everyone for the retreat.
ICYM National Director Fr. Franklin D’ Souza gave first talk on “Why we need retreat for youth?” he shared the joys and sorrows of present youth and he said that Jesus is the Real Healer. He also led Youth with an anointing and healing adoration. Retreat was organised by DCCRS and its youth wing Youth United for Christ (Y4C) of Archdiocese of Delhi. CBCI Council for youth extended whole hearted support in organising this event. 480 youth from North India are present for the retreat.
