June 16, 2018 :  Diocese of Shimoga under the leadership of it's Spiritual director Fr Franklin D'Souza organized one day training and empowerment program for the Legion of Mary leaders from the Parishes.

Training began with Rosary at 9:30am. At 10 O'clock Legion of Mary Diocesan President Mr. Vijayaratnakumar welcomed the gathering. Fr. Franklin D'Souza, SMSSS Director Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, Sr. Dorothy, Resource Person Mr. G. Prakash and Mr. Anthony Swamy from Bangalore senatus were present on the Dais.

Fr Franklin D'Souza in his message invited to build a strong spiritfilled Legion of Mary in the Diocese. Fr. Roshan Pinto said that being in the Legion of Mary it's a special call. He invited them to follow the footsteps of Mother Mary.

Then the resource Person Mr. G. Prakash and Mr Anthony Swamy led the training.

After noon at 2pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the Eucharistic Adoration and prayed for the leaders. At 3pm Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto offered Holy Eucharist and Preached on growth of little mustard seed and growth of our faith. He also explained the meaning and message of the parable and connected it to the Legion of Mary Association of the Diocese.
