Bhadravati, August 27, 2023: Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Newtown Bhadravati, Diocese of Shimoga celebrated 28th anniversary of Legion of Mary Presidum.

On 27th at 8:30am Fr Franklin D’Souza, Diocesan Spiritual Director of Legion of Mary concelebrated Holy Eucharist with Parish Priest Fr Lancy Barthalomeo D'Souza and Former Parish Priest Fr Mark Patrick D'Silva.

In his homily Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on the days message who do you say that I am?. He said they Jesus wants kot the opinion but experience about him. He spoke every leadership in the Church is for selfless service to the churand society. Every movement or association should love and serve as Jesus did. He appreciated the role that Legion of Mary is playing in the Diocese. He concluded his homily with a prayer.

After the mass at 10:30pm there was celebration in the Parish Hall. Legion of Mary Diocesan President Mr. Anthony Dias, Diocesan office bearers and Legionaries from other Deanery Parishes were present for the Holy Eucharist and for the function.
